Is there a way to enable a "dog mode" (A/C on, doors locked) in a 2006 GX?
For the quick errand where I need to leave the dog in the car for 10-15 minutes - is there a way to keep the A/C on with the doors locked while I'm outside the vehicle? Like Tesla's "dog mode"?

On my 07 GX470, I used to leave the engine running and lock the doors manually with a spare key. I also left the windows cracked and the rear wing windows open as a back up vent in case something went wrong with the a/c and to reduce the chance of having to deal with psychos who see a dog in the car and feel the need to assume they care more about my dog than I do. I also checked to make sure the rear a/c was set right as its possible to bump the controls behind the center consol.

Get a command start installed, you can activate it when you park, and it will run for a set time before it shuts off. If you take longer than planned, you can restart it. Plus, I see you're in IL, so you get winter, it doesn't suck for that either.
