.......................the sticker on the bumper is a bit of a giveaway, 'ARB'

Give or take a few bucks with shipping and duty, you will be closer to $4k than $3k in USD for the rack and bumper

LOL! I know what kind of bumper it is, but I didn't know if he had to order that from ARB of if we have a Vendor selling them. Trying to decide on a metal bumper for my rig.

Succeeded in getting my stuck oil filter loosened. Picked this up, worked in 2 seconds: http://m.homedepot.com/p/Husky-Unive...3JFW/204762449 Put the new Mobil1 filter on not so tight. Filled her up with 5 Q of Mobil 1 High Mileage and 1.6 of regular M1.

Stripped my front diff drain bolt even more using some borrowed ez outs(must have been too small). WD40'd it again, hit it with an air chisel but it still won't budge.

Slowly added a bit of R134a refrigerant during the pressure up compressor cycles and watched the sight glass for awhile and resolved to learn more about how to read it.

Did the water pump and timing belt at my local auto repair shop. Bought the Aisin kit on eBay.

Rebuilt front and rear driveshafts

No special tools needed, but a angle grinder and thin cutting discs is highly recommended

Driving on the hwy this weekend, and started getting a metal on metal noise at speeds above 30km/h or so. Took a look under the truck but couldn't find anything, didn't appear to be a rotational noise, suspected a loose heat shield but couldn't confirm on the side of the road. Got back home and let it cool down, found the heat shield over the muffler was completely loose and sitting on top of the muffler, metal behind the washers had completely given up. Pulled it out, problem solved!

Got the driveshaft replaced per TSB L-SB-0116-08.
I had the clunk when coming to a stop, and I also had a clunk when the transmission shifted from 1st to 2nd (when a lot of torque is being applied).
It's like driving a new car again.
$390 for parts (I think I got a discount) and an hour of labor.
I had a NX-200t for a loaner -- didn't like it much. Road noise wasn't too bad but you could really hear the brakes. Hit my head on the door opening a couple of times. Good power, but you had to be careful or the turbo would come on-boost right in the middle of a corner. Just didn't feel very Lexus-like.

Default Interested to hear people's reaction...

Heading to take in the GX for replacement of BOTH exhaust manifolds and full timing belt/water pump replacement with all associated parts. At the tune of $2,700... just hit 90k.
