Today i blacked out my tail lights and reflectors in my bumper using dia-wyde spray. Here are the results of this...

wow that does looks cool ..especially on a black color GX..did u also sand it ?or just spray and how long was the drying time. how many coating of spray u used . i am thinking of doing on mine too..but just on a small area which is white lens. but i want to do like red or orange.
Also i never heard of dia-wyde spray. hmmm

i did not sand it at all in my previous car 01 infiniti qx4 i did not sand it so i did the same thing to my lexus all i did is take them off and clean tehm with rubbing alcohol for wounds. Dia wyde you cannot order by yourself it is $ 40 for a little can it barely lasted me i only got two coats of it. My motorsport shop in harrison new jersey sells all colors of them even for fogs and mirrors

That looks super nice on a black GX! I have a pearl white one, so I don't know if that will be pulled off, lol.

After applying the black finish how does it effect the visability of lights?

I have a Pearl White one too, blacked out lights look pretty sick on them.

That looks awesome! I've got a black GX470 too. I did this on my SC300 and get nothing but compliments.
