Default Rims on the GX?

Im thinking about getting some rims for my 05 model. I have a black truck and I'm thinking black and chrome. Do you guys have any ideas? I want a clean/ classy look. I'm trying to decide between 22 and 24 inches. If you have pictures, that would be great! Thanks!

If someone selling some, please let me know.
Also, what is a good price?

I would not go with 24. I have 22 it looks nice, and rides exactly the same as stock. I tested.

Smitty...its a gamer tag that has stuck with me through the years lol...
I still have stock wheels and tires! What you have looks nice, I don't like things to flashy. Mine is black so I was looking at some black rims but those would work nice I am sure. What are you selling? the GX or just the rims? Cause I wanna discuss the hitch if your selling the GX LMAO!!!

LOL, he just bought the vehicle not too long ago. Don't think his wife is ready to get rid of it.

Hi Lojack I dont remember the offset or backspace. All I remember its bolt pattern is 6x139.7. Check tire rack they will recomend the most conservative set up.

Lexus 4 ME...I did try tire rack...thanks. I found something and then a local tire shop said he thought they would stick out like roller skates! That made me worry so I wanted to check the numbers. If Tire Rack is conservative on there setups I am sure they would not send me a setup to make my GX look like a silly skate!

I have been looking for stock chrome rims and beside Ebay it's almost impossible to find. I did however find a close match at NTB, Its made by V line and its the 5 split star like our factory ones in 6x5.5 set up. They came in chrome and silver for about $125 a wheel. Not sure about quality. It seems someone on the internet stated they were actually from AR(american racing). Ebay has the regular silver used wheels running around $125 per wheel used.

What size tires are on your truck/ Im looking at 20" wheels with 295/50/20 tires, was wondering if they would rub without mods.

Default Offset

Just go to one of those suppliers that have a fitment computer. I think it is 108mm. I know it is odd witch eliminates most makes of wheels. Watch the weight some of the 22's I looked at were over 60 lbs. more than doulble the stock lb's.

Ya the weight is an issue with these 22s. I just recently did a trip to Laughlin with the family and did a side by side comparison. My dad has the exact GX as I do except for the stock wheels and tires. We left Laughlin with full tanks and filled up in Barstow. He put in 10.2 gallons and I put in 10.3 gallons. No difference there. I was surprised that my 22s didn't lower my milage. I assume it does around town as that is really where the weight matters, taking off and stopping. During this run from Laughlin to Barstow we averaged about 75mph. Also my speedo is off a touch due to the fact that my tires are a tad larger in overall diameter. My RPMs were a tad lower than my Dads when driving side by side as well due to the tire size difference. I still want to sell my 22s, just been lazy and haven't taken some good pics of them and posted them.
