Does the odometer get affected by going up to 265/70 from 265/65?

Yes, anytime you change the overall diameter of the tire you mess with the speedo and odometer.

265/65/17 Width: 10.43 / Diameter: 30.56 / Actual Speed: 60mph
265/70/17 Width: 10.43 / Diameter: 31.60 / Actual Speed: 58mph

the difference is 3.3%

Very good, I guess I'll have to fill out an odometer discrepency report when I sell it. LOL. "Sorry Officer, I swear I was doing 80mph not 82mph- My odometer said so. I will definetly change the size when replacing them though, probably use the 285/60/17 that has been threaded recently, They look sharp and wouldnt affect my speedo.
