Default '04 GX470 Batt. replacement shenanigans

Battery died, Replaced battery, M&L screen dark. Checked fuses in the engine bay, and found the green(30amp) fuse dead. installed a new one, now the screen is back, but no sound. The HVAC touch controls on the screen(Or physical buttons, for that matter) do not work.
Checked other fuse locations, and nothing ... I have been reading some of Googles threads on the subject which kinda points to the inexpensive $19.99 AMP. (Yes, Sarcasm). Is there a way to check a certain fuse on said amp. or if I have to end up removing it?

Thanks guys.. I haven't been active in a while because, Toyota/Lexus product.. Runs like a champ(Or until there are other inconveniences).

Update.. I tried the old, "Disconnect the Negative terminal for 15-30 minutes." That itself, brought back the HVAC controls(I also tried the A/C and Heater. They both work). Still no sound. But since she is not a daily, I'm okay with that. Until we figure out what we're going to do about replacing Amp or stereo system(Yes, I know easier said than done, due to having Nav.).

Thank You.

I don't remember where the audio system fuse(s) are, but ... did you check all the fuse boxes?

There's 3 fuse boxes from what I hear. I checked the two, located in the engine bay and the driver side but not the one which is on the pass side(Again from what I hear, no pun intended). Just in the engine bay alone, there are two audio fuses, and one of them(The 30amp) was burned out. This is the one I replaced.
PS: Thanks for replying to my post, Chip.

I wish I could tell you how to test the amp, but I have no experience there.

Did the cables spark or anything when you were changing the battery that could have caused this?

Good Morning Ian,
Not when removing the old battery but when installing the new one they did a tiny bit. That's why I wasn't too worried about it. But if that's an indication then perhaps, the amp may have crapped the bed... Again it's not one of our daily's (Thank God, it's more of a 3rd/weekend warrior type of vehicle).
