Bluetooth & "Transfer" Function on Nav Screen
I have a GX470 bluetooth question.
When you are on bluetooth through the GX NAV system and get a call
it goes in the speaker phone mode.
Unless you come to a complete stop your can not "Transfer" the call
to the phone headset.
I guess they do this to encourage people to use hands-free.
But this is a pain if you have clients or friends riding in your car
and you get a personal call because everyone in the car can hear
it, unless you come to a complete stop and then hit "transfer".
Yes I know you can disable the bluetooth function when others
get in your vehicle, but that's also a pain.
My question...is there a way to disable....via a code....via programming
...ect the "come to a complete stop" to enable the transfer button?
Thanks for any input.

Booyah....thanks....I may try that until I can find the solution....I also emailed this e-Bay seller to see if he knows anything for the 2009 GX.

Get the Nav override kit. All you do is push a button (all functions work as though you are parked), then push transfer on nav screen and the call moves to handset,
see my post in LX570:
Prestigious Society sells a Lexus DVD/Nav Override kit for the LS & LX - (maybe for all the cars in the line) I have used it in only the LS & LX. This Kit gives you all the functionality when moving as is available when the car is parked--DVD, phone, destination, etc. Priced in the low $300.'s, installed in back of the NAV unit with a trigger or toggle switch to the dash. Works great! Other posters on this thread have purchased it also and there is much about this unit on LS board.

James....no I don't know much about it. I e-mailed the guy on e-Bay and he has not responded yet.
I guess this is the unit Sid is speaking about. I called them and there was no answer. Thanks Sid.....I will look into it further.
