CD magazine issues
Is there an eject button for the cd sleeve in the 6 disc player that is in the glove box. Do you just push on the cd sleeve to make it release? I think my cd sleeve is stuck in the player and will not release to add or remove cd's. I hear a clicking noise ever time i close/open the cd door. A loud click like something is stuck in the player. I just had this serviced under the warranty, but believe it may still be broken. The entire cd mechanism in the glove box seems to move if i push on anything belonging to the system. It feels like its not all screwed in. Does anyone else seem to give a little if it is pushed?

Mine ejects when you slide the door open. Are you leaving it open all the time?

The CD changer is a very cheap Pioneer unit with a bunch of plastic gears inside. At this age, the plastic gears are shredding for most people. I'm surprised anyone still has a working changer at this point. Replacement changers are available on ebay but they will break in the same way, probably in a very short time.
So yes, the magazine should eject when you open the door, but the changer is likely broken.
The solution is to add an aftermarket bluetooth interface (such as a vais) and forget about the changer. You'll have to take the changer apart to get your CD's out. When you take it apart, you'll probably see the broken gear(s).

Yes a cassette adapter is the easiest solution but the sound quality isn't very good. Something like this one:

If you want good sound quality, you'll want a bluetooth system such as the Vais SL3B-L:

Installing the Vais does require taking apart some of the dash pieces to access the back of the radio to plug the connectors in. If you're not comfortable doing that, a stereo shop can do it, it shouldn't cost much in labor as it's an easy job.

Even better sound quality than the Bluetooth (but admittedly, not as convenient as streaming from your phone) is the VAISTech USB adapter. I have a 16gb stick loaded up with WAV files ripped right off the CDs, so it's just like listening to one (only no 6-disc limit, or broken gears)
