http://thepassionatepursuit.com/lexus-body-kits/gx-470/

The above link has some ugly kits, but the one in the original post is awesome! Does anyone recognize the license plate or the logo on it? Let's track this front lip down.

I have reached out to them via email and get a total painted cost. Will update ASAP.

So I have heard back from the company in Japan and they said shipping is 45-60 days (which seems standard from Japan). They take T/T payments and L/C which is good! I have not gotten a price from them yet because they would like to know how many "I" want. If it is a fair price, I am going to order one. Are their others out their who are interested? If there are, we can try to get discounts.

Any other questions you have, please let me know and I will ask them this week.

Hello Jason,

Thanks for the additional information. I also received the same information from Ms. Sally Tin of Toyota Tsusho (HK) Corp Ltd. I thought of adding two other details in addition to what you described above. Their web-site in fact describes a front and a rear bumper spoiler for GX-470. Also, I was wondering whether the item comes ready to paint or pre-painted. So I asked for further clarification. Below please see Sally's comment.

Sally Tin response was: "For GX470, I'm afraid we have only front spoiler available, will give you a quotation for both painted and non-painted shortly".

I like the spoiler but I am afraid that I won't be able to install the spoiler on my GX470 along with my already installed 'Sport Bumper Trim" due to a curved notch from the Sports Bumper Trim might interfere with the spoiler installation.

That's too bad! I am really hoping that it works out for me. I think it is a really cool looking mod and not over the top. I will continue to put updates on this forum just in case their are others who are interested in this front lip.

Jason.....

Thanks for all the leg-work tracking this down and getting more details.

I am interested unless the price is out of sight.

So count me in....are we thinking the front spoiler will be
between $400-$1500? Depending on tax/shipping/painting?

Also I am not very mechanical/ect so I do worry a bit
about installation and also getting a perfect match on the color.

Jason if they don't come painted, do you advise I get my dealer
to paint and install this?...And what would that cost?

Based on the PDF file above, it looks like the installation is easy.

Use specialized double-side tape, bracket and screw to install the spoiler from
the top of the genuine bumper
■ Bumper, feeling substantive
■ Height of the front spoiler perfectly match with the car body
■ Min 360mm running ground clearance
■ Made of Urethane

The total cost is going to play into my decision to purchase this too.

I think the shipping is going to be the most expensive part. As for the painting, since you have an '04, I would suggest that you have the dealer paint it (based on getting a perfect match).

As soon as I hear back from them, I will ask them how much it would be for an unpainted spoiler (I assume they give discounts because they asked me how many units I want).

I don't really see the piece being too difficult to install and I would think that I could probably go over to a local shop and ask them to install it for under $100.00!

I hope to hear back from them in the morning.

By the way, I had an '04 and I love your rims - I am adding this to my truck on Wednesday. http://www.eautoworks.com/products.p...duct_id=111110

It would look great on yours!

They have these chrome frames on many of the stock Lexus cars around the headlights and if they look stock (and not cheesy), I will send pics on Thursday if you want.
