Default Rims On Gx470?????

I Love my GX 470 but I have yet to see this suv with RIMS. I want to get bigger tires and Rims. Any feedback on size of tires. I want the largest size without compromising the ride. Please post pictures of your rims and tires.
Thanks

I really like the 18" 4Runner Limited wheels on mine. I have size 265/65-18 tires (instead of the stock 265/60-18) which gives an extra 1/2" of ground clearance. Anything bigger then 18" starts to look out of place on the GX IMO because it is a Land Cruiser (Prado) at heart, not an Escalade, and to me it would be a shame to compromise the vehicle's offroad dynamics.

That's why you need to have TWO sets of wheels.

One for on road handling:

and one for off road clearance and traction:

of course the first can still be use for a little impromptu off road too...

Wow! After looking at all those nice wheels I feel lowly in my stock rims. You can really see the difference in "itsZep's" 1st Before vs. After pic. Really nice.

Thanks LexusBob. My brother and I have "company cars" and the other
one pictured is his. I like the new look, but it's not for everybody. I am sure
your stock wheels look just fine. BTW...UBond007 yours looks great.

Thanks! I was condidering putting 24's on but the ride would be too harsh. I'm very happy with the 22's.

Thanks zep, although i like to alter the look of the GX abit i try to be on the subtle side..and not grab much attention. There's plenty of that around already and I'm just not the type to do so.
