Rims On Gx470?????

.
Regarding ride quality: I am very pleased with the ride of my GX on 22's with a 265/45 profile. It will be interesting to see the difference once I move from 265/45 to 305/40. What I will say is that when I switched from Stock to 22 inch rims, I felt like the car drove much BETTER. I'm not saying that it was more comfortable, but rather that it handled better and felt less top heavy. Perhaps the KDSS on my GX works well with the rims? I'm not sure of why it is, but I can assuredly say that it is much better now. I will always take a performance gain like that to sacrifice a barely noticeable amount of ride quality.
You will be very pleased with the handling of the 305's!
Did you order them from Jeff and Gary? I hope they gave you a good deal.
Can't wait to see some pics!

They were having a no tax, free shipping, AND 10% off deal yesterday. The tires were $820.00 with Warranty's out the door. There was just no way anyone could beat that pricing. I really do appreciate the reference, though!
My fiance' took our camera with her on her Bachelorette Party this weekend and my pix of the GX are on there. I'm hoping that the memory card is back at home. If so, I'll have pix posted by tomorrow. If not, they'll be up by Tuesday.

Nope. You do not need wheel spacers as long as you make sure you have the correct wheel with the proper offset.
There are a lot of post about this and searching will lead you to many different options.
The bottom line is with that size tire you will have very minor rubbing on the inside plastic fender liner. I have had this setup for about two years now and you would be hard pressed to tell where the tires rub unless you look very carefully...read in to that "no damage".

here's a pic of my gx with 22s. tires are 265/40/zr22, virtually no difference in tire height.
i don't find any negative ride quality difference. i always drove my truck on the sport mode. with the new wheels, wider tires, and higher rated tires the truck handles much better.
good luck with yours.
ps - GO GATORS!

Here is mine
Here is my 20" MB; I ran w/ NT 265/50/R20. The ride is not as comfort as the stock, but not as much. BTW, I'm thinking of 22" or 24", and I'm selling the wheels right now. It's in the sale forum. More pixs in the for sale forum.

Hi SmittysGX,
Did the 285/45/22 rub on the wheel well when turning? I know I want 22's with 45 series, but I don't know if I should get 265, 275, or 285. I definitely want 285 since its the biggest sidewall height, but I'm scared they would rub. Let me know. Thanks!
