Rear bumper protection
Did a search here with no avail....
When unloading a cabinet from my GX last night I scratched the bumper in the area between the rear tailgate opening and the black rubber bumper protector; at the top of the bumper. Looks like the paint is pretty thin there.
Is there anything on the market that we can put on to better protect this area from scratches? I thought about touching up the area with paint, and then having the 3M film put on it. Any thoughts?

I am currently in the process of formulating a sprayable Bra that you could use virtually anywhere. It will help provide protection without doing anything you can't remove.
I should have something completed in approx. 3 weeks.
Other than that, I really don't know of anything else you could use.

The detail company that did the FULL BODY installation warned me at the time IF I ever got into an accident and wanted to reaplly the film onto the GX, I had to make sure the paint was totally "cured" first otherwise, the PAINT would peel... Be forewarned....!
Good Luck!

I keep an couple of small rugs in the cargo area, and drape them over the bumper area when loading things that are big or heavy, to protect against the scratches. Not much help for the scratch already there, but might help prevent others
