Dual Magnaflow GX470
First off I would like to thank Pearlpower and cmarshack for their great R & D, they have inspired me to go for it. You guys were right there is no way we are going to run two separate pipes from the exhaust and back. It has to be split after the axel. I have the same muffler the Magnaflow # 14586, which is a 22" Muffler which is offset in the inlet and outlets. The size is 2.5" in and out. My plan is then to run a custom bent 2.5" pipe over the rear axel to the Magnaflow Y pipe # 10786 it has a single inlet for 2.5" and splits into two 2.25" outlets. From there I will run 2.25" pipes to Double wall Stainless steel round angled tips. They are 4" and diameter and also from Magnaflow # 35164. My local muffler shop will charge me around $ 300.00 for the custom bent pipes and the installation. Cost for the muffler shipped was around $ 90.00. Cost of the Y adapter was around $ 22.00 and $ 68.00 X 2 for the tips. Not bad for a real nice exhaust system. I will be sure to post some detailed pictures. And I have permission to take pictures during the custom bending and installation procedure ! Cheers

Picture of the Magnaflow Tips
Here are the Stainless Steel Tips # 35164. They have a 2.25" Input and a diameter of 4". They are double wall, and should look great for years.

Would love to get suggestions from you all on how to "maintain" that fine SS/chrome shine though...
Thanks in advance!

First Pics
Wow, What a great job my local muffler guy did. And for $ 200.00 labour, and $ 30.00 for pipes and misc. hardware. Anybody up in Greater Vancouver, BC looking for this dual muffler install, I would highly recommend this shop !

Sound great !
Real throaty sound now, when you lean into it. I'd expect 5 or so more horsepower with less backpressure. But really love the dual look. Set's us dual guys apart from the crowd. Recommend spending the little extra and getting the dual wall tips from Magnaflow or something similar. I think the 4" diameter is about perfect for sizing.

It turned out perfect! Did you have them install resonators or just the pipes to the tips like mine? I would be interested in some pics from below if you have a way of getting under the car.
Congrats!!!!
