I just installed this today on my Black Onyx and it is hard to tell it is on there. I will have to remove this thing everytime I wax the rig and wanted to know if anyone knew where to find those little 3M strips that came with it? The adhesive is very mild and I cannot imagine them being removed and stuck back on. Would like to have some on hand.

Hey Ian, Any idea where to buy the clips that hold the bug deflector on? I had mine off today and ran over one of the L brackets that goes over the clip. Does not look right with that one clip missing.

Lexus dealer would be my only guess, and I'm thinking you won't have much luck with that. Any chance the bracket could be bent back into shape and re-used?

I called the lexus dealer I bought it from and he had some extra clips. He is sending me the 4 pieces for one attachment point. The formfit compnay sucks at responding to emails.

Hi Burny,

Did you buy from Lexus or FormFit, how much was it, and do you recommend the installation.
IANB2 said his is OEM.

Thanks

There is a Lexus dealer on Ebay That I got mine from. They have sent me extra clips and the protective pads. They have been great to work with. They have a best offer on the ebay site so be sure to make a reasonable offer. I get a ton of comments on mine and it does look excellent on Black. I took mine off to wax my vehicle a month or so ago and am not sure I will do that again. It is a lot of work putting it back together.

Yep that is it. Won't take offer less than $125 and then there is the expensive shipping. It comes in a monster sized box. I put a small white Lexus caliper decal on the end of mine to add a little character to it.

very nice. Order some white Lexus caliper decals off ebay and stick one on the passenger side edge like the formfit logo on drivers side.

I have never run mine through one, but we have Autobells in this area that use cloth strips that smack the vehicle and those should not be a problem. that one with the roller that comes down from the roof across the windshield could be a real problem.

I had a FormFit front deflector on my MDX many years ago. The product itself was great and held up fine in car washes...I didn't like it because it traps a lot of debris between it and the hood. Just make sure you clean out that area.

Great point, on the in between, never thought of it. I am bored again, only thing left is AT fluid flush/change, still debating, as you know countless threads here pro/cons.

Now if I can find the front spoiler, that will be awesome. Cant seem to locate it.
