Please post Pics (or links) of wheels on your GX
I would greatly appreciate it if you would post pics of your aftermarket wheels on your GX. That's the first upgrade I want to do. I have Blizzard Pearl so I would especially appreciate any wheels on white GX's.
thanks in advance.
Bob

tire inflation on your aftermarket tires
guys, do you maintain the 33psi tire inflation on your aftermarket tires? my nittos seem to look under-inflated at 33psi. the outer section(/diameter) of the tire wall seems to get in contact with the pavement. they're rated at max 50psi(pres)/2450lbs(load). although I do not intend to max it at 50psi if ever i will over inflate a bit. Is increasing psi 3-5 recommendable? what psi are yours? any suggestions will help... Thanks! 'do apologize hijacking a thread.

A lower profile tire needs higher pressures, I'd recommend 35psi cold all round for a 50 series profile.

re: "What made you choose them and how's the ride quality
with that wheel/tire setup?"
Bob ....I chose mine because I love the look.
To me they are not "over the top hood", just a tad of rebellion
over stock wheels......which is the look I wanted.
Another Club Lexus member had them and sold them to me
when he sold his GX.
The advantage was I knew exactly what they would look like
before purchase.
Thats the problem, generally when your purchase wheels you don't
actually know what they will look like on your vehicle until you have
bought them and they put them on your vehicle.
Yeah, some tire/wheel sites have a program where you can see
what they are kind of going to look like, but until you see them
on a real live vehicle just like yours, there is always some
question as to how they will look.
As far as ride, I am having a slight problem at high speeds.
I have had them balanced twice. The 2nd time by some
special balance machine that is supposed to be the best.
Still at speeds above 65mph there is a steering wheel vibration
about 75% of the time.
Not sure if there is a flaw in one of the wheels/tires?
I hate it, because I love the look, but the vibration at 60mph+ is
annoying.
Not sure what I am going to do.
I will keep you informed.
