Default Leg Room Question

Just curious if anyone notices the driver leg room a bit tight? I am 6 feet and average length legs and think that the driver leg room might be snug. Strange since it measures at or above the amount of leg room in other SUV's. I'm playing with the seat to see if I can compensate but I was just curious if anyone else has the issue. Otherwise the car is bulletproof.

Thanks,

Default Leg Room

You are right. It is tight. It could use way more leg room. Distance to the floor behind the pedals is great, but from the seat to the pedals is pretty tight. I am 200lbs, between 6'2"-6'3" and could sure use more leg room. It would help if it was wider also.

I put the seat all the way down and back and raise the front all the way up to get the most room and some leg support.

I still like the GX, but it could use more leg room. Skip

Sounds like Lexus needs to put in power pedals!

Agreed completely with your thoughts. Lexus needs some power pedals. I also wonder if the measurement is from the seat to the back of the firewall or just to the pedals. If it is to the pedals I'm surprised. It is tight unless you move the seat back and raise the front up as much as possible. Oh well.

Default I took out the "dead" pedal to gain a few inches.

It pulls right off.

I like the dead pedal. For me, it's the gas & brake pedals. I can't fully extend my right leg or move it around like I can with my left leg. On long commutes in traffic, my right knee starts to ache a little.
