cd player in 2003 GX470

Has anyone had problems with there CD changer? The dealer wants $2000. to fix it? My door slide open and now it does not pop out the changer? Any help

My cd changer won't stay closed for long. The slightest bump and the door just swings open. Just short of using an adhesive or something, I'll wait for someone to opine.

I have seen cd players OEM on ebay for 300.00 +

I meant the door for the cd changer. Thanks for letting me know about eBay but I don't want to spend $300 for when I could get a iPod connector such as Grom or Parrot. I think I will use an makeshift lock mechanism.
