Wanted - pics of gx with Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo or BFG AT KO
Has anyone put Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo or BFG All Terrain TA KO on their GX? If so, can you post pics? I'd like to see how the truck looks with more aggressive tires. Any thoughts on what effects this might have on ride quality, handling, etc?
Thanks

i never tried BFG
but i heard that they are noisy
i myself use Pirelli Scorpion ATR,
it's quite aggresive looking and the noise is low , and also quite comfortable,
i highly recommend them.

I would do a search, as I wrote a full review on the Revo's. In a nut shell they offer better dry/wet grip, braking, hydroplanning resistance, and vastly superior off-road/mud performance. They are heavier, which can be felt during acceleration from a stop and in the steering. They are also slightily noisier and rougher; but my pollyanna wife noted it but did not object to it.
This is in comparison to the OE Michelins. They have 24K miles on them right now, and they are showing very little wear, though I keep the pressures at 36psi all around.

How much noisier than the OEM Bridgestone HT's? What is the weight difference between the Revo and same sized Michelin and Bridgestone HT? I found that at least for the 18" wheels, the bridgestone website says the 275/65R18 Revo weighs the same as the 275/60R18 HT (40 lbs). Anyone driven both the Geolander AT/S and Revo's?

Jim,
I have never driven a GX with the HT's, so cannot comment. I'm mainly going off physically lifting both tires and driving feel. According to Tirerack the HT D840 is 36lbs, the X-Terrain is 40lbs, and the Revo is 41lbs. The Revo felt heavier than that.

I absolutely love your chrome wheels. I have some similar but not with the Lexus logo. Could you tell me if you bought the wheels with the Lexus Center Caps? My dealer says that they are not available from Lexus. I thought that since you had such nice tires that you may have bought special wheels with them. Please share if you don't mind.

i search the internet for tyre review and i'm very happy that my Pirelli Scorpion ATR is rated the best for on/off road all terrain category.
