I have been researching extended warranties for my 07-GX. I had traded my 04 with a Lexus extended warranty in for a 07-GX. I got money back for the extended warranty. Anyway, I have been pricing the Lexus 7 year/0 deductable/100k Platinum for about $2080.00 by Troy and a little less by Jim. The Auto Club offers a Platinum 7 year/0 deductable/100k warranty for $1615.00 payable over 24 months for an extra $125.00. The warranty is backed by Mercury Insurance Company. A.M. Best Rating - A+Superior with no BBB complants in any state. The contract has no dollar amount limit. The warranty pay the dealership directly by credit card. They encourage you to have your repairs done at the dealership. They also cover all 50 states.
My question is has any body used this warranty company and what are your thoughts?

Look at Geico's Extended Warranty that they call MBI. It is for 7 years and 100K miles. They are charging me $51 for 6 mos.

u need to read the fine print...as from what i can tell u with out knowing what is covered by the aftermarket warr
