No chance - bought the GX for a reason that the ES just won't do for - size cargo space 4 wheel drive, etc etc.
However, I would trade some features, like the upgraded NAV, keyless ignition etc.
Can't beat the ES as far as a family car goes for the price though - very nice for the money and very nice compared to others costing much more, like MB E class or anything Nissan or Honda thinks constitutes a luxury car.

No way - they are totally different vehicles - the GX can carry cargo and get through snow and rough terrain - you sit high and not low - apples and oranges.
If I was to get another sedan to replace my aged Nissan Maxima, the EX350 Premium Plus would be my first and perhaps only choice. I did test drive it, I like it, and we are seriously considering it - on the merits of a sedan. However, I am not even sure if I want a sedan as a second vehicle - we let the Maxima sit unless there is an emergency (hubby is retired and doesn't go out on his own much). I'm actually thinking of an RX to replace the sedan - maybe a hybrid if they update the features.

Rightly said.. these r two different vehicles to compare... infact you can't compare an suv to a car... its like apple n oranges. depends on what you want.
even though most of us don't take GX offroad (but it is highly capable, rated best by 4X4 and JD power in luxury class) it does help alot around in snow... (canada n northern states) i mean i see cars getting stuck all the time.. touchwood but never happened with GX.
IS seems like a very good luxury sedan.. i mean its better then anything else i have seen and GS is just too beautiful...prolly best lookin in its class.
