Default Reset Maintenance page...

I do most of my own normal maintenance like tire rotation and oil and filter change. I know how to go into the maintenance screen and reset the date and milage until the next change. However, the little icon does not turn green again when i reset it. And, it keeps telling me to contact LEXUS to have my oil/filter changed. I know how to reset the maintenance light on the dash but how do you reset the icons back to green? Anyone have a clue?

Thanks,
CV

CV -

When you reset the icon for your next filter change, did you either enter a date and/or mileage for the next reminder?

For instance, you may want to check that there is a date set or mileage set for the next oil change. This should activate the icon, and make the message go away.

Push 'Info"
Touch 'Maintenance'
Touch icon of your choice
Hit reset or manually change.

Oh, then you don't have to reset your NAV like I did. If you don't have the NAV but have the Maintenance light come on the dash do the following:

Turn car to the 'ON' position in the ignition
Cycle through the Odometer so that you are on Total miles, not Trip A or B.
Turn car off
Hold in Odometer button while turning car back to ON.
Keep holding until the Maintenance light flashes and then goes off for good.

You will be good for another 5000
