Default Location Of turn signal flasher

Could someone tell me where the turn signal flasher is located on my 06 GX470? I looked in the big fuse box under the hood, but I didn't see any flasher. I want to replace the OEM flasher with one rated for LED's. BTW, anyone know where I can get a flasher rated for LED,s I undertand they are all electronic, no relay.
Regards
Darrell

Hi Darrell.....

Recently, one of my front turn signal bulbs went out. I did not notice any difference in the flashing rate between one bulb flashing or two.

Perhaps, it is not necessary to change the flasher on a GX.

Come to think of it, I have the Prado Lights which have two bulbs on each side in the rear. That may be the reason why the flashing rate did not increase.

Perhaps, it is not a problem when the load increases, such as when towing a trailer. Maybe the problem arises when there is not enough load, such as when using LEDs.

[Cap, thats exactly the problem. The LEDs draw so little current(milliamps) that the flasher does not operate properly.
