Nav Guidance Voice is to Low
Even though I have the navigation voice turned up as loud as it can go (7), when the vehicle is doing 50 mph or above, I can barely hear the navigation voice. And yes, the windows are all closed and the audio system isn't on very loud at all. I also have it set to raise the volumn automatically. Anyone else notice this?

Nope. No problem here. I actually have it turned down a couple notches because "she" can be annoyingly loud sometimes.
Did it just start to happen or have you always had this problem?
How are the speaker balance settings? I think the nav voice only comes out of the left-front speaker. This is the only thing I can think of other than something being faulty.

I had an 05 GX470 and it was the same way. So it must be normal. The voice is to loud when at a stop, thats for sure. But when I have the level set to 7, when at a stop it is way to loud, but if I lower the volumn setting, then when I'm on the highway, I can't hear anything. And yes, my hearing is still great. I guess its the nature of the beast. Seems to me the nav system in my old 05 Dodge Magnum RT worked better, well at least in the volumn auto adjustment dept. The Dodge system also had me at the right address when I am in my driveway. The Lexus system has me at 143 instead of my correct street number of 121. And I understand the latest DVD nav disc that just got released is the same ver. 05.1 that I already have in my 10/05 built GX. So maybe when the next update comes out next year, my address # will be correct.
Just seems odd that the Dodge system was accurate and the Lexus system is off, even though the mapping software is provided by the same company.

Most men over 65s have trouble hearing, try getting hearing aid or replace the battery in your hearing aid. It much cheaper than trying to get a fix for something that is not broking.
