Wow very cool! So you basically dropped some solder to jumper the two posts and that did the trick? Nice.

I'll note that my 2008 had a different TPMS module than what I have seen folks post for the 2007 and 2003-2006, but the Blue and Red/Green wires are still the correct wires.

Here's the end result. the board slides right out after you pop the plastic top on the TPMS box. Super easy. It took me 15-20 minutes total and I have never done anything like this in the past, so it's easy for a complete noob.

Yep, I took a strand of wire from a Cat-5 cable, wrapped it around the two posts a few times, twisted it tight, and then dropped some solder on it to reinforce the connection. Plugged everything back in. Easy peasy, reversable, and no wire cutting.

Just a note to help clarify things for others:
1. My 07 has the blue TPM box
2. Disconnect harness from blue box then cut the BLUE wire.
3. Strip some insulation away from the GREEN/RED wire and tap it to the BLUE wire going to the dash. (Note: make sure you don't tap the green/black wire right next to it)
4. Reconnect wire harness to Blue TPM box
5. Done!

Followed the directions from #76 on my 07 GX but the light is still on. Not sure where I went wrong

Amazing for such a basic bit of technology, that Toy/Lex don't standardized and code at the module. A universal TPMS by year/edition should be sought. It's like making a different cigarette lighter with some quirky nuance by each model. [slaps forehead]

I think I see where you went wrong. Only cut the blue wire then only strip the insulation of Green/Red wire. Looks like you cut the wire off completely.

Who still got their 2004? I changed my cabinet filter the other day and I was like let me looked at that man cave connection I did 16 years ago. No problems! Still live and kicking!

Default Problem after disabling tire pressure sensor

I grounded blue wire per forum instructions. Light went off, but came back on blinking after 1 year. What do I do now?

If my experience is anything to go on, you got off lucky. I didn't get the light to go out for a year, I got it to go out for an hour or two sometimes or a couple of days sometimes. But it didn't solve anything. I do not believe this trick is a solution to anything, it just appears to be for a short amount of time, or in your case, a long amount of time. But it's not any sort of permanent disabler.
