Someone 'keyed' my baby
Parked my new GX470 in a shopping plaza yesterday. Some idiots took a key or a similar tools and left 3 long scratches in my baby (about 4-5" each). I'm pissed!!!
So my question is what's the best way to make these scratches go away. They're kind of deep. If you've used someone in the past and can make a recommendation, I really appreciate it.
TIA!!!

Really sorry to hear that.
Doesn't sound like a typical "keying". Keying is usually one scratch most the length of the car. This sound more like a shopping car or someone carrying something with edges past your car.
How deep are the scratches. Look closely with a magnifying glass if necessary. Can you see primer (ie. did it take the actual paint off)? "Scrap" your fingernail across it (gently) can you feel a groove? Do you see any other color paint (ie. from another car)?
If it is just in the clearcoat you can work it out with some scratch remover (it's like VERY light rubbing compound), then go over with swirl remover (fills in the clearcoat), then wax or whatever your treatment is (Zaino, etc.).
You'd be suprised how much scratches you can get out, IF it's just in the clearcoat.
If you do it yourself, I would suggest you tape it off (with just a 1/4" on each side of the scratches) to make sure you don't go overboard or accidently mess up the rest of the car.
If it's thru the clear coat, you will need to paint it first, either use a repair shop, or if experienced with wet sanding with 2000 grit, you can do it yourself, also.
