Remember that hoopla about the GX's being recalled for front suspension problem about 4-6 months ago, So.......did anybody get the recall notice yet???? There was some confusion whether this was just for the 4 runner, toyota line or did it also affect the GX.

Just wondering....

I didn't receive anything from Lexus and my `04 GX470 was at the dealer in mid-August for the $10K service and nothing was said then as well.

GX were not affected by that recall. I asked my service advisor a long time ago when that recall was out for the 4 runner.

This recall only affects Toyota 4runners manufactured between 1989-1996 and does not affect Lexus GX470 at all. Issue is with Steering Relay Rod that may develop stress cracks. Toyota is recalling quite a few Pickup trucks and 4Runners that are affected.
