Default Xenon240

The only things you need to reprogram besides the windows and sunroof which takes literally 40 seconds to do; you have to also reprogram your clock and radio stations. The Homelink system is not effected so dont worry about that.

Dave I will post some new pics of the 6000k tonight as it gets dark.

Hey Fusion, Kash, Dave, whats the word from Steve on your kits? Its gotta be getting close. I wished you guys would have ordered the kits the same time I did before the Acuramdx.org guys bought them all.

Default Xenon240

Quoted from Xenon240:
"For those that have installed the H11 lowbeam Xenon kit from Xenondepot, how do the Xenon's work with Daytime Running Lights???
Also, I read on the Proxenon website that they do not recommend using Xenon's with the Automatic lights feature (due to insufficient voltage to turn on the ballasts as the car is started)?"

Xenon240

The kits from Xenondepot have their own voltage regulator from the ballasts so the electrical system from the GX does not get strained it also provides all the juice it needs to light the Xenon bulbs. The kit does not effect any normal function of lighting. You can still use auto lighting and manual lighting. Remember Xenon lights use 35watts with 3 times the lumen output of a halogen. Halogens use 55watts with more heat produced. Daytime running lights are not effected in any way and function as they should.

Dave you will definitely love the 6000k kit you are getting it looks exactly the same if not better then the link that you posted, Ours will be better because we have projector lamp housing versus the GS plane reflector housing so the light intensity is even better than that. Trust me you will not be disappointed.

Default Gotcha Tony!!

Kash, Fusion400 and I just can't wait to put it on!!
By the way, I changed my foglight to Piaa Ion Crystal (2500K) Because many other Lexus owners did. They said that is the great combination with HIDs. I've seen many GS, IS on it. Look Great! What do you think?
One more point is the Yellowish light will provide great vision during bad weather.

The stuff... isn't too expensive. about 40 bucks
I know some people want white fog, but personally, with HID(soon) combinated, then will look great

Finally got the XenonDepot 6,000K kit installed today.

Tony, thanks again for the great pics. I had my laptop out in the garage during the installation. Only problem I ran into was there was no predrilled holes on the GX for the driver's ballest. There was one hole that had a plastic clip holding a wire. I popped that out and put one zip around it. That plug 'n play was sweet. What a great kit.

Thumbs up WOW - What a difference

Ordered and received (3 days) the plug and play kit. Installed without removing the battery (took an extra 20 minutes) tough to get the ballast attached to the internal wheel well. If I was to do it again, I would have attached my battery charger to the conenctions for the battery, then removed the battery. This would have accomplished the desired result of not loosing the memory setting in the GX 470, and allowed the easier install.

Total install time was about 1 hour. No doubt there is at least twice the light and the blue hue shows up on every street sign like neon. Safety has been greatly enhanced by lighting up animals and people an extra 50-100 yards away.

Thank you again Xenon Depot . Excellent follow-up with e-mail confirmation of tracking number. Pick-up from Xenon-Depot occured the day after tracking number was provided.

Great purchase and happy customer!!!
