Good to hear. I haven't even taken delivery of the GX yet (should be getting it in the next few days) but being able to see at night is a big thing for me so I'm excited!

Next step, put a 5K kit in your fog lights, I run my low beams/fogs all the time--you will not be able to stand the yellowish nasty color of the fogs after you see your Low beams lol----even better light output lol!! I love mine,

Hi Steve, here's the pictures I promised. I wanted to wait until I was able to restore the headlights, they were in pretty poor condition. Overall I'm very satisfied with the color and quality of the lights. They are every bit of 5000K.

With halogen fogs

Without halogen fogs

I may be overly picky but my only complaint is that there is not a sharp cutoff line like i've seen others have, and this picture is not a good representation of it. The line looks sharper in this picture than in reality.

Looks good! Your not gonna have a "sharp" cutoff because the lenses were made for Halogen bulbs, not HID's, Its not the HID kits fault--overall they work really well and very little glare to other drivers, I have never been flashed because of my lights.

Agreed. It's the lenses, not the HID bulbs.

Steve -

Quick question. A handful of times now my driver side headlight does not come one when I turn on the lights. The first couple times I freaked out and disconnected a few of the connections and then turned off the lights and it came back on. After that I tried turning the lights on and off and after a couple tries the light comes on. What could be the problem and how can I fix it?

Make sure you have a perfect ground, undo it and make sure its bare metal you are up against and tight, or move it to another area. Make sure your fuse for that light is also securely in place.

So far so good. I confirmed the ground was good, but was able to secure the fuse for that headlight tighter. Thanks for your help!

Can do this HID installation without disconnecting and taking out your battery?
