Default Rear door cladding removal

Hey all, trying to remove the rear door cladding piece on my passenger side, a couple of the upper "snap in" clips are not engaged in the piece (looks like someone previously pulled it off and didn't get them reinstalled correctly), but I can't figure out how to remove these "lower" clips:

Do they just pop out with pressure like the upper ones? I'm worried I'll wind up breaking it.

Also, anyone know a part number or where I can buy more?

Thank you in advance!

I used a v shaped panel popper and they came out with no breakage for me. Your mileage may vary since the tabs are now quite old and environment plays a big part of how brittle they are.

Thanks for the advice! I'm still not sure if those clips come apart by pure pressure, but I was able to pop enough of the clips out of the way to get a 10mm wrench on the support bracket holding in the rest of the cladding.

I have ordered some more clips, I believe these *look* like the right ones:

the two OEM part numbers are 75495-35010 75397-35010 and they should get here Sunday, I'll update with my results if they actually work or not.

Wanted to follow up since I finally got the last of the clips I ordered in, and figured out what worked and what didn't in case this thread is useful for anyone else in the future.

I needed two sets of clips, one of the sets comes with two different kinds, so the rear door molding/cladding piece requires 3 different clip types:

There are 3 or 4 of these on the wheel arch: https://www.ebay.com/itm/333395658585 Toyota part number 75393-60030

Then there are a couple of each of these clips on the rest of the molding piece:

I was not able to remove the clips from my very original post. They attach the moulding piece to a metal reinforcement that's held to the truck via 3 10mm bolts. Once I popped the plastic clips out of the rest of the panel I was able to bend it just enough to remove the bolts. They appear to be some sort of pop rivet, and might not come out at all. They were not the 9mm nylon square pieces listed before, perhaps those are used on another part of the molding?

Lastly there is a strip of double sided mounting tape on a few of the edges of the panel, I believe 1/8 inch wide would work best, I found some body mounting tape at a local parts store.

Got my panel reattached and the door finally looks right! Thanks for the help everyone!

The leading edge of my rear passenger door cladding ( the vertical part closest to the driver door) is loose although the rest appears to be firmly attached. Is the attachment to door there just 2 sided tape? If you have any pics of your door with cladding off that would be great. Thanks.

MickyT unfortunately I did not take any pictures of the cladding when removed from the door, based on what you're describing though I do believe there was a thin strip of double sided trim tape in there. If not, it was definitely just a few of those small plastic clips though!

Thanks for this write up, I need to do mine. Looks like the proper way to remove the piece in your original photo is to actual drill out those rivets and replace. Anyways, for the pieces above the wheel well (75393-60030), were they hard to remove without breaking? I have the other replacement clips but not those. Thanks a bunch
