Considering shock options for my KDSS-equipped truck. Though I haven't come across any distinction in parts searches, some posts in certain threads here have implied that KDSS requires a different shock (or coil spring conversion parts) than the basic suspension system. True or false?

False. Same shocks, coils/coil conversion, etc. About the only have to worry about having KDSS is if you are putting on skid plates or rock rails.
