Are you experiencing vibration?
Just talked to the Wheels at Lex and they are unaware of any new suspention, hitches, or roll over airbags I just cannot figure this company out, Why not let the public that buys these things now what they are building?? Has anyone seen the new suspention?

I was experiencing vibation, but after turning down the music the vibration stopped. If this is not what you are talking about, I guess I'm one of the lucky ones that doesn't have the vibration which you are mentioning. Of course I still feel it because of my music.
I raise the tire pressure from 32 to 37 psi and the 55-70 mph vibration is gone. The very light 1700 rpm vibration is still there but it doesn’t really bother me that much.
I will lower the tire pressure back to 32 psi this weekend and see if the vibration comes back.
BTW, is there a safety concern on 5 psi higher than Lexus recommended tire pressure?

I'm seriously considering buying a new '04 with the new GVWR. I keep reading about the vibration issue, but I have never seen the phenomenon explained. When I test drove an 04 this weekend, I felt a slight fine vibration in the steering wheel, but I thought it may be due to me not being used to a wood wheel. Is this what you guys are talking about?

I think people's definition of a vibration might be different.
I think the word vibration might not be the best word to decribe it. A slight hum (not in the hearing sense, but in the feeling sense) in the steering wheel might be a better description.
Maybe this analogy... Picture driving a car, any car, over slightly rough pavement, you know the feeling of the road you get in the steering wheel, well this issue feels similar to that except on the GX that feeling happens anytime you are lightly on the accelerator and in the RPM range of 1200 to about 2000 RPMs in any gear and as soon as you release your foot from the gas the feeling goes away.
We are not talking about your hands are shaking and feeling numb kind of vibration.
Of course your situation may vary, but I have had two GX's now and they have both felt like the analogy I decribed above.

cessna,
thanks for the description, that's exactly what I felt on Saturday, but I didn't take time to notice if it was with foot on gas or not. Why have you had 2 gxs?
