Torque on Andriod is excellent, and really cheap. Iphone seems to have bluetooth locked down for peripherals like this, and have to use wifi instead, which is really too bad. I haven't used this one, but I'm looking for a good OBD2 adapter and software package as well. I'll be watching this thread for ideas.

The units being discussed also connect to the OBD terminal, they just display and allow you to interact via your smartphone instead of requiring a dealer scanner or laptop.

I'm looking for one of these setups that will allow my to scan & clear CEL's, as well as monitor various sensor signals, but nothing I've looked at that works with iphone seems to do this. The idea is to be able to set it up as a tranny temp gauge when towing, and that kind of thing. Any ideas? Does this kiwi software accomplish this?

or, you can just buy ScanGauge-II if all you need is simple read-outs of sensors that can be seen on the canBus, etc.
I've considered a scangauge2 as it would accomplish all my goals, but then you need to mount it somewhere, a phone based solution would be nicer.
