While waiting for my train this morning I was playing with some buttons, still learing all the features the GX has to offer. I pushed the compass button which turns off the compass in the mirror.

Here's my question- I held down the compass button for a while and eventually the compass switched from directions to numbers. It displayed "1" in the mirror. Then everytime I pushed the compass button after that, the number went up. I didn't get a chance to read the manual as I had to catch my train. Any idea what this feature is?

Thats the regional setting, make sure the compass is set to the NJ region.

 

Ok thanks, now I just have to figure out the correct number. I will check the owners manual tonight.
