Do you know if they rotate tires at the 5k complimentary serivce or is it just an oil change and car wash?

 

They should do what the manual states, which includes a tire rotation and a few inspections (brake pad thickness, battery voltage under load, etc.) in addition to the oil change.

For the 5000k, the dealership (manhattan lexus) did the following:
There was no tire rotation

1) replace oil filter
2) gasket
3) 6 qts of 5w30 motor oil
4) washer fluid
5) LPS-personalized setting (one button unlock all doors)

Also, advised the next service call would be approx $189!!!

 

They should have rotated the tires. Says so right in the 5,000 mile service. Take it back and make sure they include the spare tire in the rotation pattern to give equal wear to all 5 tires. Equal wear just lessens the chance of failure to the transfer case.

 

Yes my dealer rotated the tires at 5000 miles.
