22's on GX
How do 22's ride on GX?
|
No personal expereince, but try the Tirerack
They are generally a decent source. Give them a call.
|
Ride and handle much better than stock
|
Lower profile tires usually handles better but the trade off is that you will feel every bump.

Hmmm, hello Local Lexus Dealer, I just installed 26" wheels onto my GX and now I can only go in a straight line because I can't turn the steering without the tires rubbing the wheel well! JK! Will the 26" wheels really fIt the GX and if SO, I would LOVE to see pictures!!! -Alex |
The 24s fit just about perfect..I had to trim about an inch off the inside of the mudflap and now there are no rubbing issues what so ever. The 26s are only .1 inch taller and .25inches wider than the 24s with the smaller sidewall. :woohoo:

someone please buy my 24s :D

With 26" wheel consider the tire size option is 305/35/26 your over all diameter is 34.4" which is about 4" bigger! You are over 11% ! With 305/30/26 which is 33.2", a 8% bigger! There no other size in between on the market unless you can get it special made in 295/20/26 which is 30.65" which i doubt it! If your GX wheel are not +/- 3% you are in danger of brake failure!! Not to mention your speedometer is off, way off!! So! My question is HOW do you put 26" on your GX and only gain .1" or 1" overall diameter???? :uh: Maybe with out the tire...j/k :D Let see some pictures?? |
