I'm wondering if anyone has encountered this problem after installing the VAIS Tech XM. The unit works great as has tech support. That said, there is single problem they can not seem to fix. When the music changes there is supposed to be a pop-up screen identifying the title and artist...this will not work. Have followed all the directions in the manual and from tech support with no luck.

If you had this problem what is the fix? Thanks.

 

Works perfectly fine for me. As long as the nav display is on the audio screen....it continuously updates the song and artist as it changes.

 

Mine works fine in Audio mode also. The problem is no pop-up with the artist and song when on Nav.

 

It was never supposed to do that as far as I know.

 

The manual and Vasic Tech both say it should have the pop-up.

 

i have an 04 and the info at VAIS looks like there should be a MD selection to make the display pop up. Is that corect? My 04 doesn NOT have the MD option

 

Yes, there will be a MD option with Track 1 and Track 2, when you install the module.

I use Track 1 for Sirius and Track 2 for DVD/TV players.
