Cool

That sounds cool, thanks for the info. The black wood and graphite wheels sound very sharp. Is the 3rd row seat option now standard on 2005? I know I had to wait about a month to get one without the 3rd row seat.

Oh yes! Finally some concrete info!

Unfortunately I am not in CA (NJ here), but are you already taking orders for the 2005 GX?

I can't wait now to see the photos when ready!

Thanks again Longo Lexus for this great info!

Longo LExus,

Thanks for the info very much appreciated!!

You said:
"November L/O" What does "L/O" stand for?

Also:
Ivory interior comes with black upper I/P
What's "upper I/P"?

So the Ivory interior's going to have black wood trim?? That'll look strange..

Previous GX470 had a GVWR of 6,000lbs. Is the GVWR going up on the 05's, for tax reasons, the GVWR has to be OVER 6,000.

Thanks!

I thought the 2003 GVWR was 6000 lbs, but the 2004 (9700B and later build dates) were 6100 or 6150lbs...

Thanks!

They tell us that it'll be available in December so I'm guessing November is the production month?

The Sport Package's Ivory interior will have a Black dash with the dark wood.

The 9700C model has been over 6,000 lbs since last November. As long a you have a "C" in your model number.

And the Sport Package is in addition to, so now you have a choice. I'm not sure of the production percentage yet. Most likely there will be a limited number of Sport Packages, but I'm not positive on this.

I hope this helps.

Thank you for the update, Longo Lexus! I tell you, I wish I could afford trading up, but I just bought my 9700G 3 months ago! So, this brings me to my question about the upgraded Nav system.. Do you have any idea if the new features (additional voice commands, etc.) can be had on an '04 by getting a new DVD with updated software, or is the system completely different? I imagine that something like the Bluetooth may be impossible to have on an '04, but am hoping (and praying ) that some of the other features can be obtained through a software upgrade.

Just curious... Thanks in advance!

I'm a salesperson so I'm not too sure on some of the technical things. (Normally I'd say, you should trade up!) haha.

I'm surprised to see that the 2005 Sport Package cost is only $221 more than the cost of the 2004 KDSS option.

That's a good point, but either way I'm sold on it and want it. I only need photos to verify and then get this baby on order! It's about time Lexus offerred a sports package option to appeal to the younger crowd like us!
