I'm a cheapskate too. I always wash/zaino my cars, change oil myself. But for this gx, I was not able to figure out where the oil filter is. I did see the bolt hiding behind the cover at the bottom though. Shawn, do you mind help me out or should I just buy a service manual from eBay.

is that something your dealer offers cause I've only seen the 1000 and 5000 service offered under warranty and is their a mileage limit on it cause 2 years 24k is not much but 4 oil changes and who knows how extensive the 15k service is since their paying for it

I get no free service other than that first 5k service included.
Oil changes are not that bad once you figure it out, but it's not as easy as my Civic! Once you got the bolt off of the front skid plate, it's on the front left area of the engine roughly. Just have a bag handy, because with the position it's in, oil can potentially get everywhere.
