Hey, Club Lexus. As the world turns, my 2008 GX470 has permanently moved into the big parking lot in the sky after 14 years of happy ownership.

Everything SOLD excepting Ferrari err 2008 Lexus GX manuals... I've got some left-over bits that are looking for a good home. Make me an offer that I can't refuse. Maybe I'll get Taco Bell for lunch or (fingers crossed) a nice sit down dinner from all this lovely curated GX gear?! I'll post in the CL Marketplace and locally in due time, but figured this was the best place to start...

STILL AVAILABLE - If a vintage Ferrari toolkit wrap is worth >$10K, then a complete (?) Lexus GX470 manual pkg has to be worth something! lol

SOLD - I originally installed my Xenon kit back in '11/12 that are 47x better than the factory halogens (ugh). However, I'd have to replace one of the two "plug and play" ballasts every couple of years. No big whoop, but here's what I have laying around.
* Two brand new in the box 35w / AMP Extreme HID ballasts from Xenon Depot that I ordered in early 2023 (maybe p/n XD.BL10)
* One partial Xenon Depot kit dated 2015 - aside from two missing ballasts, I don't know if anything else is missing from it - also appears to include the two ~3year old OEM Toyota / Lexus bulbs that came out in 2012/12.







SOLD - Two map DVDs for Gen5 Lexus navi (you'll want to double-check it's really Gen5 in a 2008 GX). Definitely factory original and not copies, but don't check. Both worked flawlessly in my GX.

SOLD - Much like the Ferrari toolkit wrap and Lexus GX factory manuals, this is your chance to ensure your GX is packing all of the factory original goodness. And kindly disregard the fact that many / most are in the same unopened condition. Consider the weight (and cost!) if you want this shipped to you.

SOLD - And last, but not least - the ubiquitous 3rd row folding seats in gray. Seems half of us immediately removed the third row on day one and the other half actually used them. Well, mine sat quietly in semi-hermetically sealed plastic bags in a cool, dry, mold-free and pet-free basement from day one. Given their unwieldly size and weight, local pick-up is the only sensible option.
* Pristine condition.
* Might be missing a 3rd headrest?! I found the extra headrest in the "secret" zippered compartment on the backside of the larger to the two seats.

The middle headrest is usually inside the zippered compartment.
Having the 3rd row seats is a great source of leather to get your driver's seat repaired!

I think the nav DVDs are no longer available from Lexus, so if someone with a Gen 5 needs a map update, this is their chance!
I want to point out that the East disc set has the full US map set, but only has the POIs for the east coast. I run with them turned off so 🤷‍♂️

You taught me something new today - there's a secret zippered compartment on the backside of larger of the two 3rd row seats. Voila! It was hiding the extra headrest.

 

Make me an offer that I can't refuse... let's find this stuff a good home.
