Default wireless door lock buzzer

Can someone tell me where the wireless door lock buzzer is located in 09 Gx470? Mine is not working and I am hoping to replace or track down the wiring.

Thanks

You mean the piezo 'chirp' when locking and unlocking the door with the remote? I can't remember if it is a Techstream option but if so, are you sure that feature was not turned off? Those usually don't go bad since it is such a simple module. But to answer your question, I don't know where the piezo speaker is.

Yes I checked with a scanner and it is on and at max volume. I think a wire might have been chewed so I am trying to chase from the buzzer/chirper unit up...

Could it possibly be a fuse? I am just shooting in the dark for low hanging fruit...

Edit: I just read on ih8mud that the piezo is wrapped and under the master cylinder. I have not checked my car to confirm.
Some there reported the same issue and replaced the piezo to get it to make the chirp when locking/unlocking with the remote.

Just a follow up

Based on Davelei post, I pulled the engine cover and traced the wires to the chirper. Sure enough I had a broken/chewed through wire. Spliced them up and sure enough I have chirps!

Thanks Dave for the info.
