Metallic grinding noise when turning all the way to the right
I have noticed lately that when I turn the wheel all the way to the right, usually at slow speeds considering that's typically the only time I turn the wheel all the way to the right, there is a metallic grinding noise that comes from the front right wheel.
Any suggestions as to what is causing this?

I'm literally sitting at the dealer right now, after doing my 25k mile oil service, and had them check for the exact same thing. I have an 07 450h.
It's my tires - I have the original OEM run-flats, and am going to be getting a new set along with an alignment. They are bubbling on the inside and that is causing the rub.

Did you ever get an answer about this? I noticed mine doing the same except it seems to do it more when turning to the left. It sounds like it's coming from the rear passenger side.
Tires are pretty much brand new. It's a grinding/scraping sound that seems to occur once with every full rotation of the wheel. I looked at the brake and rotor and nothing seems abnormal about it and there isn't anything hanging loose in the area.
I had the same thing with my last car, a Matrix, and they blamed the rotors being rusty and wanted to turn them etc. and I declined since they didn't look any more rusty than normal after you drive through the rain once.
I tried using a screwdriver to try bending the shields further away from the rotor, and scraping the edge of the rotor where there was rust debris to get the loose rust off but nothing made any difference. Only happens when turning left, scrape-scrape-scrape... sounds kind of, crunchy. Guess I will leave it alone for a while and see if it gets worse, stays the same or goes away and then take it to a shop that isn't the dealership to look at first.
Pads don't look very low, and if it was pads why would it scrape only when turning? Can't be wheel bearings, I've had bad wheel bearings before and it didn't matter if I was turning or going straight the noise was always there and it was a constant noise and not something that sounded on and off with the frequency of the wheel turning.
Also, it doesn't need to be turned all the way to lock... pretty much any degree of left turn will start the noise up, and it gets a bit worse the sharper the turn. It's not so loud that I can hear it if the windows are up even inside the garage.
Hopefully somebody knows exactly what it is so I can just fix it instead of shooting in the dark.

I did have this problem fixed. I took my car into get some other things serviced and mentioned to the service manager about this metallic scraping/grinding sound and he said that this is typically due to a plate that sits beside the tire/wheel and that they would just have to make a minor adjustment to this plate. Once I received my car back, the noise was gone and they didn't charge me for this part of the service.
