Default Removing my headliner/shark fin?

Guys I need to remove my headliner but I can't find any threads on it. Iv searched everywhere and need something to go off of. If anyone can help me with it or can locate a DIY thread that would be great.

I need to get my shark fin off!!!

Thanks

I just had my headliner removed so the techs could fix a sunroof rattle. I would think starting with the A pillar covers would be a good start. Be careful not to stretch out the A pillar covers to much when removing them because you will want a tight fit when they go back on

Thanks I8ABMR

I am painting or wraping my roof/shark fin and would rather take it apart myself then let the body shop do it.

Anyone else have any info?

I think you can but then you have a white fin and im not ok with that. So either way I need the fin to come off to be painted or replaced.

take off all your A, B and C pillars off. Take off the "oh **** " handles. For the B-pillars, the lower garnishes comes off first and there's 2 phillips screws underneath them. The front, you're gonna have a big white hook that holds it into the body, use a pair of pliers to twist them 90 degrees to get those off, the rear just pops out from the body and up from the package tray. Take the sunroof control panel off and the weatherstripping for the sunroof. after that, it should just be all clips holding the headliner on. Be very careful though, it's really easy to leave creases on the headliner, it's very thin!

Yeah I really like how the shark fin looks. If you do get a fin I would just get one and paint it black. People have tried to wrap them before but none have ever came out looking good.
