backseat anchors
since my gs is a 98 it doesnt have car seat anchors, is it possible to add them on securely. where can i buy it, and who would be able to install them. the dealer said they have never done it and since its supposed to tie to the frame they didnt want to try it. Maybe the guy was being lazy im not sure. please help me out. summer is almost here so the gs is my dd. i pick up my one year old from daycare and hit rush hour. people drive stupidly trying to run home and i thought car seat would be safer with anchors. thanks for the reply in advance.please dont just read an ignore.

Here is an old thread on the subject. Definitely confirms that it is possible.
I also attached the instructions for the top tether install for your car and the location of the CSR (Child Seat Restraint) brackets on a factory equipped 2002 GS. I have not found the part number for these brackets or information on whether or not they will bolt into your 1998 although I suspect they will.
