wow...that's just crazy...$280...that must be for a brand new spoiler+led, right?

i wonder if any aftermarket spoiler LED can fit?

If you really want a spoiler that bad w/ the brake lights than i'd say do it.. Otherwise i'd just get rid of it imo.. That's what i'm planning on doing with mine.. Got a friend with a shop that quoted me $350 to fill the holes and repaint the whole trunk lid, but then again that's just me.

Or you could just get a molded spoiler, but that would probably run you a lot more, 'cause you'd have to fill the holes, repaint, paint the new spoiler, then install.

similar and you could do something like this on the spoiler itself

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...ake-light.html

or find a company that makes LED's (i swear to god there is a thread someone found a company that did).also dave and a few others had some creative ways to replace this, just have to search some next time OP

i recently changed my oem spoilers LED as well since a few of them were flickering and its very annoying. i went to Spoilerlights.com and purchased part # SL-2836 please double check if yours is the same before buying. it was a perfect fit and led's are brighter than ever. price was 57.50 shipped

There are 2 kinds of spoilers hold 2 types of led strips, but appearance-wise they are the same. Measure the mounting holes carefully before buying.

OK thanks to mike813 I was able to find the right LED part and now do I have to take the Spoiler off to actually remove it, or you guys think its doable without taking it off, cause there are only 3 philips screws in there????

If you do remove the spoiler you have to install a third brake light inside on the rear deck.

For me at first i tried to be slick and do it w/out removing the spoiler and that took almost like 1hr. got frustrated since i didnt have a hex screw (forgot size) to remove the spoiler so iwent out bought the right tool and removed it. after that all it took was 10-15 min to re-route the new wiring and hide everything nicely back inside the trunk. i choose not to splice the wire because it was old and i live in NY so its exposed to rain/snow and whatever comes out the sky. check the pics, i just snapped some real quick with a p&s since its dark.

perfect fit around the whole trim sorry was lazy to resize the pics.

Ok so today I finally received my LED spoiler piece I paid 62 bucks after shipping fees and right of the bat I noticed the plastic was cheap quality, and the color was a bit different than the original and then again this is aftermarket. I hope this works will post pics tomorrow when I go to instal it!!
