As far as i know TM and Sewell are the only dealers..

 

I don't check here often but I just noticed this thread on TM. I ordered a set of sway bar bushings and steering rack set from them on January 5th and it was delivered on the 12th. No problems from them.

i see that on daizen's website they ONLY refer you to TM but when i did that leg work ALL of those people i listed were authorized daizen dealers

yeah i had no issues either....

 

All I can say about that is the trend seems to be control arm set for 2gs and you are screwed as they always seem to be backordered. The other stuff seems to get to the customer. Thats just based on people on this thread saying "no problems for me, I got (insert anything besides 2gs control arm set)"

thats true for me......i didnt order the controls arms but i did get the sway bar bushings and steering rack bushings and had no problems getting them. i may just have to order my control arm bushings from sewell and pay the extra $ for them for reliability

 

I’m new to this forum – just joined a few weeks ago, needing information about the front end ‘issues’ I have with my 2001 GS 300.

I did just enough searching and reading to figure I needed the bushings re-done.
I read about the DAIZEN solution and wanted to go that route.

There are a LOT of posts about TM Engineering, authentic (yes/no?), still in business (?), etc.

I wanted to update everyone about my TM Engineering experience.

I receive an e-mail informing me that Steering Rack Bushings and Upper Control Arm Bushings are out of stock but on order and the expected wait is 2-3 weeks.

Would I like to receive a partial order of what they do have in stock now and wait, or wait until everything is ready at the same time?

I sent my reply on February 26, 2010 at 7:25 PM. (Friday) to send what they can now.
The next day, Saturday February 27, 2010 I receive my partial order:

Yes, I couldn’t talk on the phone to the guy, but the e-mails and service were the epitome of professionalism and courtesy. And he charged me $0.27 less than the order!

 

my experience...sewell was out of stock so i emailed tm on feb 10 to see if they had 2 sets of daizen front control arm bushing kits for 98-99 gs3/4 in stock. tm emailed me back on feb 11 confirming items were in stock. ordered the 2 sets that day and received automated email confirming order. but never received any shipping info or updates in status in the days that followed. emailed them numerous times on the status of my order but got no response. after a week of trying, i assumed i got got. at this time sewell just got their daizens back in stock, so i went ahead and ordered from them 1. cause i need em and they're the only other ones i know that sell em and 2. they got great customer service. anyway to make my already long story short i ended up receiving the 2 sets from TM at the end of Feb and 1 set from sewell...so even though tm sucks at the communication part of business, i did end up receiving what i ordered bout 2 1/2 weeks later. but now i have an extra set from sewell...i'll be puttin em up for sale here shortly.

ok so about a month and a half ago i made an order for daizen bushing from TM as all of you know i got one email from them asking if i only wanted one set or 2.. and i replyed back 2 sets.. and i have yet to hear from them. has anyone gotten their bushings from them recently? i ordered power steering bushings and sway bar bushings didnt think it was a big order.. but no word.. i tried the phone numbers and the voicemail is full.. plus i tried sewell and JM and all the other people that carry them and they all say they dont carry them anymore.. were any of you all able to get your money back from the bank? thanks

Hey guys, 2 weeks ago I purchased Daizen poly sway bar and steering rack bushings for my 92 SC. Then this weekend I went to install them and found I was sent the incorrect bushings (for a 98-05 GS). The phone number says the voice mail box is full and they will not respond to my emails . Has anyone else had problems dealing with TM before? Does anyone know another way to get in touch with them? Are there any TM reps on this forum I could contact? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Typical TM Engineering customer service.

 

It's been a while since I've had any contact with them, but IIRC, it was only by email that I got a response. I know it's frustrating, but patience may be your only option here

 

i lost my patience a year ago when i ordered steering rack bushings from them. got no tracking number, no contact, nothing. Never returned any of my emails so i just gave up on them. You might get lucky, someone might pick up the phone...
