Default My GS300 - 'Stage 1' done

Hey all,

well ive thrown pics here and there of this car but mostly on other forums really or on wheel threads. I got this 98 Lexus GS300 in June 08. 1 owner from new, completely stock, full log books with Lexus, and he traded it back in to the only Lexus dealer in Perth, Australia for a newer model Lexus.

It has a few dings and dents being his daily and now mine, but thats life and i can live with it! Here are a couple of pics when i got it:

I then got to modding it. meant to do it slowly long term but the exchange rate was going to the dogs and i knew i'd best get in now or forget it for expensive Japanese parts such as coilovers and wheels.

So my mods are:

- Chrome pillars
- Chrome handles
- Chrome boot bar
- 01 Tails
- Wing removed & debadged
- Window visors
- Chromed grille slats
- Trust mufflers
- Insurance Group coilovers
- Work Varianza Schwert SC2 19x9 +27 w Nexen 235/35 19x10 +24 245/35

doesnt sound much but its cost me a pretty penny haha Ideally id like to go lower and get a kit, but for now im pleased and have some other debts to pay. So here are some pics i took last night near my old mans workshop (sorry i suck at pics and so does my camera! haha)

^ i had a PM about that too, but since im in Aus i dont know how relevant my response is!

i had to have the car in for a door repair after someone backed into it, so i said to do the wing while they were at it, so cost was reduced. Cost me $200AUD. I dont think they welded though i think they just used bondo since the holes are small. Finish is smooth and i had a wing removed and bondo'd on another car and after 2.5yrs it was still fine so i am ok with it.

Thanks for the positive comments guys

Yeah if/when i get a kit, i'll probably give the aerial the boot.

As for the pillars, if i didnt have the Window visors over the top of them i would have peeled them off already to see what it looked like without them. As it is its a bit of hassle to do. :P

awsome car anthony, love the updated tails but i think you need a lexus badge on the back .....gotta let ppl know its a Lex and its abit plain without it.

Im starting to love that colour and you know K-Break kits were made for that colour haha

I was in Perth over xmas and you guys r lucky cause the roads are so smooth and nice, i would be scared to drive that in sydney.
