Anyone with 13' GS350 F-Sport AWD version get brake pads replaced due to squeak?
Hi,
I have 30,000 miles on my 13' GS350 F-Sport AWD and I have been having this horrendous low speed squeaking and the pads still have a lot of life left but I can't stand this noise. I saw the TSBs for the brake pads replacement for the F-Sport RWD and the for the Standard/Luxury grade AWD and RWD GS350 sedans for this squeaking noise. Since the AWD GS 350 F-Sport uses the same brakes as the Luxury and Standard GS350, wouldn't my car be included in that TSB ? My VIN number falls in that range. If anyone has this GS350 FSport AWD and replaced their brake pads per the TSB please let me know. Thanks!

if your vin number falls in, just call the dealer with ur vin # and they should take care of it, or u can call corporate office and ask the about the TSB and u give them the vin and they will tell u.

I know this sounds crazy but my brakes squeak every since I brought my car for it's 5000 check up and wheel rotation. As soon as I got to first stop light they squeaked and I called the service person that handled my vehicle and he told me "it's squeaking b/c they got wet when we washed your vehicle". They still squeak at times and when I had car in last Monday wouldn't you know they didn't squeak so they said all was good.

When my car was brand new, there was no squeak.
As it got older, it started to squeak.
I replaced with brand new rotors, brand new pads, and brand new shims.
At first it was quiet; I thought I had fixed the problem.
Now, after 10,000 mile etc, it squeaks again.
I think all this could be due to the fact that I'm too lazy to wash the car, so the brake dust builds up, and the front wheels look almost black.
When I remove the front wheels and wash them thoroughly, the squeals goes away, until the brake dust rebuilds.
I may have to consider purchasing ceramic brake pads next time.
Apparently they are quieter, but at some loss to braking power at low to normal speeds; though ceramic pads said to perform better at higher speeds...
