Finally in the GS club - 2014 F-Sport
I've been lurking in this forum ever since the 4th Gen GS came out. I tried to get a 2013 back in July, but there just weren't any white w/flaxin F-Sports to be had. My wife and I have been very patient and it has finally paid off. Thank you Lexus for your December to Remember sale and also to the Southern California dealers who provide a really great discount.
Definitely worth the wait! Now I need to sell my 2011 IS250 w/12k miles on it. Someone will be happy!
Details:
I did not realize that the Ultra White was metallic. It is absolutely beautiful! Looks like StarFire Pearl, but whiter.

This is mainly the wife's car (I drive a 2014 Audi SQ5 - I need something to haul my mountain bikes). The wife works from home, so this really is used for weekends (when bikes are not involved) and the occasional errands.

10k a year is plenty for me. I am currently selling our 2011 IS250..... it has 12,225 miles on it.

I didn't notice much of a difference, but that could be contributed to the fact that it was 5 months between driving the two and the fact that my Audi (the vehicle I drive every day) has an 8 speed tranny too.
The car drives smooth and is definitely quicker then my 2011 IS250 (though it feels heavier). I would say the GS drives more on the luxury side of the luxury/sport sedan. I'm not disappointed in it all, just an observation of my opinion.
I'm looking forward to driving it back to Phoenix (from Los Angeles) for Thanksgiving, so I should have a better feel for how it drives, handles, and travels.
