Default Which water pump do I have?

I am looking at different timing belt kits and water pumps, I see that some of them have different designations.

Is there an easy way to know if I have a "10-fastener" or "11-fastener" designed water pump without actually going out to the car and counting?

Thanks.

Anybody? I tried to go out and look but the pump is hidden by the timing cover.

Worst case scenario you can try getting the lesser fasterner(10).

go to rockauto.com and they have picture differences between the 2.
Honestly tho, they are exactly the same except the 11- fastener has 1 more fastening hole on it whereas the 10-fastener has this covered up.

Personally, I would choose the 10.
If my existing motor had an 11, I could use both the 10 and 11.
If my existing motor had a 10, I could use only the 10(provided that the extra drilled hole was not already built into the motor form factory.)

I hope this helps and makes sense.

Thank you, that made perfect sense. I went ahead and ordered the 10-bolt pump and got it installed today. Thanks again.

Yo fresh I ordered the A-1 Cardone Pump Part# 571456. It came in and is in good shape and fit perfectly. I haven't had any mechanical issues with it. The car runs cool in 95 degree weather sitting in traffic with the a/c on. Absolutely no issues.*

*Your results may vary. I also have a new heater valve, thermostat, radiator, and serpentine belt. The system also received a flush and has brand new green coolant.
