Default Does anyone know this GS-F?

Hello all,
I would like to know if anyone knows a particular GS-F that I am considering purchasing. It's a 2017 with very low miles located in socal. The car is currently at a carmax and I have it on hold, so it won't show in searches, but it has approximately 8K miles, atomic silver, and has lots of Tom's CF upgrades on the exterior. What's odd about it is that it rattles a bit for such a low mileage car and that the ASC button is all scratched up - perhaps it spent lots of time on the track? If this vehicle rings a bell with anyone here, I would love to know about it and its history prior to purchasing.
Thank you! Here is the vin:J THBP1BL7HA002429

Wow this is great info. Sadly I won't go for this car Too much risk and the car felt like it was tracked. Thank you!

Actually - is it a bad idea to purchase this car knowing that it had track time?

Others on this forum have bought track cars and have had no issues. Sure, its seen some use at a track but the GSF is built for track use and these cars were maintained well.

I found another GS-F close to me - does anyone here know this particular car? The carfax indicates damage while in FL, which could be nothing serious but could also be flood damage....Any insight would be appreciated!

^^^^It seems that that is not a vehicle with a VIN originally intended for the USA. Canada maybe?

It looks like customer declined a bunch of services including front left struts, alignment, etc. Would carmax fix these items prior to sale? Previous owner probably knew he is done with car so just passed it on to next owner. If I get the carmax warranty will these items be fixed? I assume Lexus replaced breaks and rotors after tracking the car since they sold it as CPO?

Ultrasonic blue is such a good looking color. if I could have found one when I was in the market, I would have bought it. As it as, I wound up with Molten Pearl and I looove it.

I track mine 1-2 times a year. So far so good and no issues at all. Had to change rotors and brakes before too.

great to know! So I am down to 2 cars - the 2017 GS-F mentioned above and a 2019 RC-F 10th anniversary special edition with 17k miles. The RCF is in perfect shape. The GSF has 9k miles and has a few interior blemishes and rattles but otherwise in solid shape. Which one would you go for for the same money? (64k)?

If you need a back seat and trunk space, get the GS F. If you don't, get the RC F.
